Dayak Architecture graduates from Japan and the Netherlands Have the Opportunity to Become Head of the Ibu Kota Nusantara

Indrawan Permana Kamis, ST., MAUMD, an influential Dayaknese, experienced Planner and Architect who work in Palangka Raya University as a vice director of post graduate school strongly has a chance to be head of Authority of Nusantara, the new capital of Indonesia in Borneo
Dr. Eng. Indrawan Permana Kamis, ST., MAUMD as an associate professor who work to advance higher education for people of Borneo is well-known among scholars of Dayak society in Borneo.
He was born in1972 in city of Palangkaraya was educated from elementary school to junior high school in Pangkalan Bun, west Kotawaringin and completed senior high school in city of Palangka Raya.
In 1996, he who belonged to Dayak Ngaju sub ethnic of Dayak in Borneo, completed Bachelor in Architecture (ST) in Atmajaya University of Yogyakarta.
He pursued Master of Arts in Urban Management and Development (MAUMD) in 2005 at IHS-Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam the Netherlands.
in 2012, he graduated from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan with degree Doctor of Engineering (Dr, Eng).
Now Indrawan serving as government employee level IVB first class administrator as an associate professor in faculty of engineering teaching Planning and Architecture. He also taking position as a vice Director in post graduate school in Palangka Raya University,
Dr.Willy Midel Yoseph, member of Indonesia Parliament representing Borneo as well as a chairman of Dayak Scholar Association (ICDN) said that Dr. Eng. Indrawan Permana, ST., MAUMD as an educated dayaknese with experiences in planning and architecture, a government employee has strongly a chance to be appointed as the head of Authority of Nusantara, a new capital of Indonesia located in Borneo island, home for dayaknese.
He also said that a competent dayaknese, indigenous people of Borneo, he by nature can understand deeply, aspiration most of dayaknese, equipped with a proper education needed and experiences should be given a chance to lead development of the new capital.
He believes that Dr. Eng.Indrawan P. Kamis, ST.,MAUMD representing scholar of Dayak with his reputation and compentency will be able to carry the special task given by president Joko Widodo to develop the new capital of Indonesia in Borneo Island. Dr. Willy Midel Yoseph, as a member of Indonesia Parliament from Fraction of PDI Perjuangan Party also hopes that beside the head position, more of goverment employees and professional workers who work in the new capital should be recruited from indigenous people of Borneo, home for Dayaknese.(Bajare007/AN)
